1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create a LaunchForge account, we collect information such as your name, email address, and authentication credentials (or information provided by a third-party sign-in provider such as Apple or Google, if you use one).
Business Idea & Workspace Content
LaunchForge is designed to help you evaluate and plan business ideas. We collect the content you submit for analysis, including business idea descriptions, target market details, customer avatar inputs, roadmap and business-model responses, and any other content you create within your workspaces or projects.
Usage & Device Data
We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, app version, crash logs, and general usage/analytics data (such as which features you use and how often).
Purchase Information
If you purchase a subscription, your payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us directly. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform, to validate purchase receipts, track subscription status and entitlements, and manage renewals across app stores. RevenueCat receives transaction and subscription data (such as product purchased, purchase/renewal/expiration dates, price, and an anonymized app user identifier) from the app store on our behalf. Neither we nor RevenueCat receive or store your full payment card or bank details.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating your idea analysis, opportunity scores, launch roadmaps, customer avatars, and business model guidance.
- To create and manage your account and multi-project workspace.
- To process subscription purchases and manage entitlements to paid features.
- To communicate with you about updates, support requests, and service-related notices.
- To monitor, improve, and troubleshoot the Service, and to develop new features.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. AI Processing of Your Content
LaunchForge uses artificial intelligence to analyze the business ideas and related information you submit, in order to generate opportunity scores, launch roadmaps, customer avatars, and business model guidance. To provide this functionality, the content you submit is sent to and processed by third-party AI service providers on our behalf. These providers process your content solely to return the requested analysis and are contractually restricted from using your content to train their own models or for any purpose other than providing the service to us, except where a provider's own terms provide otherwise and are disclosed to us.
You should avoid submitting information you consider highly sensitive or confidential (such as trade secrets you are not comfortable sharing with a third-party processor) beyond what is necessary to receive useful analysis.

4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, including hosting, analytics, customer support, and the third-party AI providers described above.
- App store platforms (Apple App Store, Google Play) for purposes of processing payments and managing your subscription.

- Legal and safety purposes, where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or safety of LaunchForge, our users, or the public, or investigate fraud or security issues.

5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and workspace content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage most account information directly within the app, or contact us using the details below to make a request. We will respond to verifiable requests in accordance with applicable law.
You can also delete individual projects or your entire account from within the app's settings at any time.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
LaunchForge is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.
9. International Data Transfers
We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect information transferred internationally in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
