These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LaunchForge mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by LaunchForge ("LaunchForge," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using LaunchForge in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. Description of Service
LaunchForge is an AI-powered mobile application that helps users evaluate business ideas and plan their launch. Features may include AI-driven idea analysis, opportunity scoring, launch roadmaps, customer avatar generation, business model guidance, and a multi-project workspace. Features, functionality, and availability may change over time and may vary by subscription plan.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Certain features of LaunchForge require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed and processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to the billing terms, refund policies, and account settings of the applicable app store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform, to validate your purchase and manage which paid features your account is entitled to. RevenueCat does not charge you directly and does not have access to your full payment card or bank details — all billing is handled by Apple or Google.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, through your app store account settings.
- Prices are as displayed at the time of purchase and may change for future billing cycles with notice as required by the applicable app store.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies; LaunchForge does not directly process payments or issue refunds.
- If you restore a purchase or switch devices, RevenueCat helps us verify your subscription status and restore your entitlements automatically.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems;
- Submit content that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party;
- Use the Service to generate content that is fraudulent, deceptive, or intended to facilitate illegal activity;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our prior written consent.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
AI-generated output does not constitute professional business, legal, financial, tax, or investment advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with qualified professionals. LaunchForge makes no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content, and does not guarantee that any business idea, strategy, or plan produced or informed by the Service will be successful. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the Service's output.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, and other content (excluding your own submitted content), is owned by LaunchForge or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service.
9. Your Content
You retain ownership of the business ideas, text, and other content you submit to LaunchForge ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant LaunchForge a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, process, and transmit Your Content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you (including sending it to third-party AI providers for analysis, as described in our Privacy Policy). We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it to develop competing products.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, or for any other reason, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAUNCHFORGE AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LaunchForge and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles, except where applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law and, where permitted, the parties agree to attempt informal resolution before pursuing formal proceedings.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
